Interreg VI-A Greater Region · A greener Greater Region
Produce resource-efficiently before you invest
GreenFab makes sustainable production and logistics solutions tangible for small and medium-sized enterprises in the Greater Region – before any investment decision is made.
Many SMEs want to make their processes more resource-efficient and circular, but lack the capacity to test new approaches in advance. GreenFab creates shared infrastructure for exactly this purpose: hands-on demonstrators, an AI-powered matching platform and a sustainability framework developed with TÜV Saarland.
GreenFab is co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg Greater Region 2021–2027 programme. Total budget approximately €2.88 million, of which 60% (approx. €1.73 million) from the European Regional Development Fund. Duration: 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028.
