Where the site is hosted
The website is delivered as a static site via GitLab Pages on the gitlab.rlp.net instance, the GitLab instance of the Rhineland-Palatinate university network. No content from external servers is loaded.
The legal basis for the associated processing is Art. 6(1)(e) GDPR in conjunction with the public task of the University, supplemented by our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Server log files
What is generated on access
When the website is accessed, information is automatically stored in log files: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, IP address.
These data are necessary to deliver the site and serve system security, stability and fault analysis. They are not merged with other data and are not evaluated for advertising purposes. Log files that allow identification are deleted after at most 14 days.
Map (Partners page)
No external map services
The map on the Partners page is an image hosted on the same server as this website. No external map service is embedded; no data is transmitted to third parties when viewing the map.
No cookies, no analytics
This site stores nothing on your device – no cookies of our own, no local or session storage. No audience measurement or tracking is carried out by us.
The fonts used (IBM Plex Sans and Source Serif 4) are hosted on the same server as the site and are not loaded from a service such as Google Fonts.

The site links to the websites of project partners, strategic partners and the Interreg Greater Region programme. These links open in a new tab and are marked as external links. Only when you click such a link do you leave this site; from that point the privacy policies of the respective providers apply.
